Privacy Policy

Overview

Mai Bailario (“the App”) is a dance tracking and event discovery app. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device using on-device storage:

• Your profile name and photo
• Dance session history (duration, steps, calories, heart rate, notes)
• Session locations (venue names and coordinates)
• Your preferences and settings
• Achievement and streak data

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you enable iCloud sync.

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, the App may sync your data across your devices using Apple’s CloudKit service. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Apple Health (HealthKit)

With your permission, the App reads calorie and heart rate data from Apple Health during dance sessions, and writes completed sessions as workouts. Health data is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or transmitted off your device by the App.

Location Services

With your permission, the App accesses your location only while in use to tag dance sessions with the venue where you danced. Location data is stored on your device and is not shared with third parties.

Motion & Fitness Data

With your permission, the App uses motion sensors to count steps and detect movement intensity during dance sessions. This data is processed on your device and is not transmitted externally.

Event Data

Dance events displayed in the App are fetched from our servers. When you browse events, your selected city is sent to our server to return relevant results. We do not store or track your event browsing activity.

Analytics & Advertising

The App does not include any third-party analytics SDKs or advertising frameworks. We do not collect usage analytics or serve ads.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by removing the App from your device. If you use iCloud sync, you can also delete your data from iCloud through your device’s Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
